Create awareness among people from all walks of life in the country, especially of the professionals associated with elementary education, health, social development, and environment so that everyone can contribute to the promotion of good health of the adolescents and youth.
Make all necessary efforts to launch a ‘School Health Program and healthy school programs’ in all schools of the country, assess physical and mental health, andcarry out workshops for students, staff, and school management.
Cover adolescents who are out of schoolwith suitable health promotion programs.
Health programs should also be focused on youth
Carry out surveys and research work to find out the state of adolescent and youth health and the effects of different efforts being made to promote their health.
Organize meetings, conferences, and seminars locally, at the state level, national level, and international level to deliberate on the issues of adolescent & youth health and other associated matters.
Undertake publication work related to adolescent & youth health.
Involve itself as an advisory body on adolescent & youth health matters to the Central Government, State Governments, Central and State Educational Boards like CBSE, Council for the Indian SchoolCertificate of Examinations, and elementary educational controlling bodies like NCERT, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan,and Defence Services. Besides, the Health ministries and other major ministries of the Central Government and State Governments must be approached to achieve the objectives.
Collaborate with any national and international professional bodies and individualsto promote the cause of adolescent youth health.
