Indian Association For Adolescent Health

The founder President is party to lay the seed of International Association for Adolescent Health in Australia. And same year formed The Indian Association for Adolescent Health was founded in 1987.

Charter on adolescent health was adopted at a meeting in 1991, decided to include youth health care, keeping in mind the problems of contemporary youth as well.

WHAT ARE IAAH’S GOALS: The long term Goal is

Objectives

• To promote the new sense of partnership between adolescent, youth and in many different professions and organizations interested in their welfare.
• To maintaining its multi-disciplinary character and sees its role as the enhancement of the health of adolescents and youth, through education, research and advancement of health promotion
• The provision of high quality health care for the younger generation in all regions of the country.
• to faster the development of effective national network chapters for the promotion of adolescents and youth health.
• It will also ensure the meaningful youth participation in its deliberations and activities.
