ABOUT ASSOCIATION

The association maintains linkage with most of the organizations and professional societies that are oriented toward adolescent and youth programs related to their health & welfare. The Association plans to have support from International Agencies and organizations like International Association of Adolescent Health, the Society for Adolescent Medicine (SAM), WHO, UNICEF, CNFPA, and the Department of Youth Affairs, Govt. of India; Indian Academy of Social Sciences, Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine, Indian Public Health Association, Indian Association of Epidemiologists,

The association plans to maintain direct links with individuals around the country who share and have an interest in adolescent health issues, whether they be professional or committed lay individual government officials or adolescents and young themselves. The association plans to participate in all meetings both at the National & International levels to foster meaningful action plans for the health of Adolescents and youth.

The association plans to develop linkage with civil societies, Non-governmental organizations, youth groups, university associations, school authorities, and panchayats for their active participation to achieve the aims and objectives.

To foster the development of an effective national network for thepromotion of adolescents and youth

IAAH is committed to the enhancement of the health of adolescents and youth through education, research, advancement of health promotion, and the provision of high-quality health care for adolescents& youth

OBJECTIVES

To ensure that every adolescent in the country is reached out to and covered by health promotion programs and educate and empower them about live skill management. It should be ensured that every school and village in the country lunches school Health and community programs to promote adolescents' physical, mental, and social health.
